Uttarakhand Panchayat Election From 5th October in Three phases

The State Election Commission of Uttarakhand will conduct Three-Level General Panchayat election 2019 from 5th October in 12 districts (except Haridwar) in three phases. The official notification for Panchayat Chunav 2019 was released on 13th September on the official website of SEC Uttarakhand.
As the election commission of Uttarakhand announced Panchayat election notification, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has come into effect in the Panchayati Raj area of Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand Panchayat Election From 5th October in Three phases
This is the first time that Panchayat election contesting candidates must have to strictly follow the eligibility criteria of minimum two children and Education qualification (Class 10th pass for Gen-Male & class 8th pass for Female/SC/ST).
Panchayati Raj General Three-Level elections will be contested for Gram Panchayat Members, Gram Pradhan, Area Panchayat Members & Zila Panchayat Members posts.
First phase of General Panchayat election 2019 will be conducted on 5th October 2019 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Second phase of panchayat election of Uttarakhand will be conducted on 11th October 2019 and final phase of election voting will be on 16th October 2019 in 12th districts.
All phases voting counting and result declaration on 21st October 2019 by the State Election Commission officials.

One Candidate One Post Election in Uttarakhand Panchayat Election
Uttarakhand Government ordered the Panchayat election contesting candidates to fill only one post Nomination forms in any post i.e., Gram Panchayat Members, Gram Pradhan, BDS, Zila Panchayat Members.
Eligibility for Panchayat Election
- Maximum Two children of each election contesting candidates.
- General / OBC Male : Class 10th Pass
- Female/SC/ST – Class 8th pass
Uttarakhand Panchayat Election Nomination Forms
The election commission of Uttarakhand will start accepting Nomination forms from eligible candidates on 20th September 2019.
District wise District Election Commission official will release the notification for Panchayat election in their district. For the first phase panchayat election, District election commission officials will release the notification on 16th September 2019.
Candidates from the 1st phase election conducting Blocks of District will get Nomination forms for Gram Panchayat Members, Gram Pradhan and BDS from the Block Head quarter and for Zila Panchayat Members post candidates will get Nomination form from District Panchayati Raj Headquarter.
Three-Level Panchayat Election with Ballot Papers
The state election commission of Uttarakhand will conduct Panchayat election 2019 with Ballot papers rather than EVM.
Then voters will get four ballot papers with different colours for each posts election.
With different colours ballot papers will have only Election Symbols printed for each candidates.
Voters have to insert Ballot papers for Gram Panchayat Members and Pradhan in one ballot box. And BDS and Zila Panchayat Members Ballot papers in another Ballot box.
