State Election commission of Jharkhand has started the process of Ranchi Nagar Nigam Election 2018. State Election commission has released the reservation roaster of Ranchi Nagar Nigam ward wise. Municipal Election in Ranchi Nagar Nigam will be conducted in the month of March-April, 2018. SEC will conduct the Nagar Nikay (Municipal) election for Mayor and ward parshad posts for 53 wards.
Ranchi Nagar Nigam Election 2018 Reservation Roster
State election commission of Jharkhand has issued the reservation roster of Ranchi Nagar Nigam for Nagar Nikay chunav 2018. Ranchi Mayor post is reserved for Scheduled Tribe (Other). Reservation roster of Ranchi Nagar Nikay was announced on the official website on December 19, 2018. There are 53 wards in Ranchi Nagar Nigam , 26 wards are under the reservation (2 – SC , 11- ST, 13- OBC), General category women reservation is done for the 13 wards. 25 wards out of 53 wards is reserved for women.
Reservation in Ranchi Nagar each wards was done on the 2011 census. The final reservation list for 53 wards of Ranchi Nagar Nigam will be published after the approval of SEC.
