Jammu & Kashmir Panchayat Election Polls will be in winter 2017-18. Governor Vohra had said that Jammu & Kashmir Panchayat polls will be held without any further delay. A three-tier framework for Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) will held the Panchayat Polls in Jammu & Kashmir in this winter. Delimitation Process in Jammu & Kashmir Panchayat Polls 2017-18

Chief Electoral Officer Shaleen Kabra said the delimitation process had already been completed in the state. The State Election Commission (SEC) of Jammu & Kashmir had prepared the delimitation process in the state in March 2017. According to new delimitation in wards for Panchayat Polls in Jammu & Kashmir 280 wards and 4000 panch segments increased.  Before delimitation process in J&K , there are 4098 panchayats (2145 in Kashmir & 1953 Jammu). Jammu & Kashmir Panchayat Polls 2017-18 – Voter List Booth wise

Jammu & Kashmir State Election commission will issue the final voter list on the official website. SEC UP will issue the voter list of Jammu & Kashmir for Panchayat polls according to 2011 census. Booth level officers are preparing the voter list of people of Jammu & Kashmir for Panchayat Election will be held in winter.
